My path to medicine
Since childhood, I felt that my path would lead to healthcare – I wanted to understand the human body, help people, give them security and peace of mind. I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Pilsen with deep respect for my field and a desire to become a doctor who would listen not only to results, but also to the patients themselves.
After a short internship at the Mulač Hospital and several years of maternity leave, I have been working at the University Hospital in Pilsen for more than 21 years. I am dedicated to radiodiagnostics and imaging methods, and for the last decade I have focused primarily on breast cancer screening – an area that has a direct impact on people's lives.
I appreciate not only the precision and connection of science with technology, but above all its human dimension in my work. I believe that a calm, empathetic and professional approach helps reduce tension and increases trust, which is essential in medical care.

Joy of family, exercise and helping patients
Privacy is an important counterbalance to demanding work for me. I have been happily married for 26 years, and my greatest joy is our son. I have loved exercise since I was a child – I do sports, swim, ride a bike and go on mountain hikes. I like to travel, I love Czech nature, good company and Italian cuisine – especially seafood, sweet wines and sometimes beer, preferably well-chilled.
I still see medicine as my calling. And in my daily contact with patients, I look not only for technical solutions, but also for ways to help them feel better – physically and mentally.
Motto:
“Treatment means not only understanding the diagnosis, but also the person.”
