One application = two effects
The filler material that is injected into the skin during this type of treatment consists of two substances: hyaluronic acid (HA) and calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA). Hydroxyapatite microspheres are firmly embedded in the cross-linked hyaluronic acid. The latter forms a supportive extracellular matrix, while hydroxyapatite stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. As a result, the skin becomes firmer and more elastic in the long term.
With this hybrid formulation combining the effects of two substances, we achieve a restoration of tissue volume and lifting that lasts for many months thanks to the stimulation of collagen production.

Long-term lifting and improvement of skin structure
Over time, although we don't like to see it, aging begins to show on our skin. The skin loses its firmness, freshness, youthful fullness and the soft tissues of the face sag. Fortunately, however, we have preparations developed by the world's biomedical laboratories that allow us to maintain our youthful appearance for longer. One of these preparations is the hybrid product HarmonyCa™, which we use at our Hello Beauty Clinic in Pilsen. This product contains hyaluronic acid and calcium hydroxyapatite.
The individual components of the applied substance
Hyaluronic acid is a substance contained naturally in the body. It is an important component of the extracellular matrix of the skin. It is also contained in joint fluid and in the vitreous humor of the eye. It has been used for many years in aesthetic medicine to improve skin texture, hydrate, firm and increase elasticity. Skin that contains sufficient hyaluronic acid can better resist aging - wrinkles, loss of tissue volume and reduced skin tone (tension). It has the advantage of being biodegradable and, in addition, generally well and uncomplicatedly tolerated in dermo-aesthetic treatments.
Calcium hydroxyapatite is a mineral also naturally present in the human body, where it forms the main inorganic component of bone tissue or tooth enamel. It is completely biocompatible and biodegradable. It has been used in aesthetic medicine for more than 10 years.
Thanks to this unique compound of two substances, we can very effectively rejuvenate the appearance - remove wrinkles, tighten tissue in deeper structures, lift problematic facial areas and restore lost skin volume. The applied product contains the local anesthetic lidocaine, which makes the treatment virtually painless.

For whom the treatment is suitable
The treatment is sought by clients who want to lift sagging facial tissues, add volume and achieve a long-lasting fresh look. It is the optimal solution for clients with vertical wrinkles in the cheek area on sagging skin.
The hybrid filler removes fine lines, refreshes and harmonizes skin texture. In particular, if a long-term anti-aging effect is desired, HArmonyCa™ may be a suitable alternative or complement to conventional hyaluronic acid fillers. It can help to compensate for volume loss and sculpt the contours of individual facial areas such as the lower jaw and jawline or cheekbones.
HArmonyCa™ application areas
We use a hybrid filler of hyaluronic acid and calcium hydroxyapatite to rejuvenate primarily the mid and lower face when signs of sagging and volume loss appear. It is possible to reshape the chin, correct the jawline, rejuvenate the cheeks and perform cheekbone modelling.
Preparation for treatment
The hybrid filler treatment does not require any demanding preparation. Before the application, you will schedule a consultation with our doctor, who will explain the application procedure in detail, discuss your wishes and expectations and suggest a suitable procedure.
Contraindications for HArmonyCa™ application
Avoid excessive consumption of coffee and alcohol before application. No skin disease should be present at the application site. Another contraindication is an allergy to any of the ingredients of the product. Patients prone to hypertrophic (raised) scar formation, patients with impaired wound healing due to systemic diseases, patients suffering from prolonged bleeding and hypersensitivity, patients with known steroid sensitivity, patients with herpes and autoimmune diseases should not undergo treatment. Pregnancy and age below 18 years are also contraindications.
How the application is carried out
The doctor will disinfect the site and rub it with a numbing cream approximately 30 minutes before the procedure. He then injects the active substance into the subcutaneous tissue using a thin cannula. After the injection into the skin, the treatment site is gently massaged for even distribution of the substance.
When the result of the application is visible
The effect of the dermal filler is visible immediately - light immediate lifting, filling and reducing wrinkles, smoothing the skin and improving its structure. The action of calcium hydroxyapatite in the deeper structures of the skin, in particular the stimulation of elastin and collagen production, begins to show in about 2 weeks and persists for several months.
To maintain the aesthetic effect, we recommend repeating the next treatment 6-12 months apart.
How long HarmonyCa™ lasts
The specific effect and length of time it lasts depends on each individual's genetic disposition as well as lifestyle. It is long-lasting, taking effect immediately after application and reaching its maximum after about 12 weeks.
How to behave after the application of HarmonyCa™
On the day of application, do not touch the injection sites, do not massage the treated areas (unless otherwise recommended by the doctor), avoid environments with extreme temperatures for two weeks after treatment, do not undergo cosmetic treatments, use a cream with a high SPF.
Healing after application
The advantage of HarmonyCa™ is that the client is able to carry out almost all normal activities almost immediately after the treatment - they can return to work and lead a normal social life. There may be some slight redness around the injection site - this usually resolves within a few hours and can be masked with sterile make-up, but in rare cases a bruise may form after application. Sometimes a slight swelling or more tenderness to touch is noticed, evt. Itching. Even these symptoms disappear within a few days. To relieve unpleasant symptoms, the treated area can be cooled.
