Temple Filler
Full, symmetrical contours of the face are perceived by our eye as harmonious and youthful. However, tissue volume decreases during aging. One of the areas where the ravages of time usually show is the area of the temples. It is more noticeable on slim people - they have less fat in the face - due to the loss of volume in the temple area, the cheekbones become more prominent and the eyelids droop. Dimples form on the cheeks, temples sag and our face then looks older and tired. Sometimes we even talk about the so-called "peanut head" syndrome.
Temple Filler
With the help of appropriately chosen anti-aging techniques, we can turn back the hands of the watch, replenish the temples and thus improve the harmonious appearance of the face. A suitable method is liquid lifting or the application of dermal fillers. Hyaluronic acid and fillers containing calcium hydroxyapatite or hybrid fillers are used.
Hyaluronic acid, cross-linked, with a high molecular weight, adds volume to the sleeping area and has a significant lifting effect. Calcium hydroxyapatite will create tissue support, and it also stimulates long-term collagen production, even several months after application.
The filling of the temple area is also a frequent additional procedure after a surgical facelift - although it closes the face and removes excess skin, it does not add volume where it is missing. And so, after a facelift, aesthetic dermatology often comes next with its minimally invasive procedures.
