Neurotoxin (BTX), also known as "Botox", is a substance that acts on the nerve endings in the muscles. These are preparations using substances produced by specific bacteria Clostridium botulinum for their ability to block the transmission of nerve excitement in the muscles. When botulinum toxin is injected, muscle movement is temporarily restricted, resulting in smoother wrinkles.
