The skin has a natural potential for renewal – it just needs the right support. Biostimulation is a modern approach in aesthetic medicine that does not work with fillers or BTX, but activates the skin’s own regenerative processes. Find out which biostimulation methods are most commonly used today, how exactly they work and why their results look so natural and long-lasting.
Biostimulation is a process in which a substance or stimulus is introduced into the skin that activates the skin’s own renewal processes. The goal is not to immediately add volume, but to kick-start the production of new collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid directly in the tissue.
Unlike classic fillers, which shape the skin from the outside, biostimulation works with the cells themselves. Fibroblasts, the cells responsible for collagen production, are activated and gradually change the structure of the skin from within. The result is firmer, more hydrated and more elastic skin with a natural appearance.
If you are looking for a method that improves the quality of the skin, not just its immediate shape, biostimulation is a suitable choice for you. We recommend considering it especially where the overall condition of the skin is the focus, not the solution of one specific wrinkle.

At our clinic we perform biostimulation using two main methods: the application of polynucleotides and bioremodelling with hyaluronic acid. Both methods work on a different principle, but their goal is the same: to support the natural renewal of the skin from within.
The main differences between the two approaches:
Polynucleotides are purified DNA fragments, most often obtained from salmon milt, which after thorough processing are used to support the regenerative processes of the skin. After application they activate fibroblasts and support collagen production as well as skin hydration.
This method is particularly suitable for fine wrinkles, loss of elasticity and sensitive areas such as the eye area, where classic fillers are not the ideal choice. At our clinic we use a clinically tested preparation with a proven safety profile for this purpose. If you are addressing overall skin quality and fine wrinkles, polynucleotides are one of the gentlest methods available.
Bioremodelling is a biostimulatory method in which ultra-pure hyaluronic acid with a high concentration is applied to the skin. Unlike a classic filler it does not accumulate in one place, but spreads evenly over the entire treated area and supports its hydration and firming.
This hyaluronic acid also stimulates fibroblasts to produce their own collagen and elastin, so the resulting effect combines immediate hydration with long-term firming. The method is particularly suitable for areas with a more pronounced loss of elasticity and skin shape, typically on the face, neck, décolleté, hands, but also on other parts of the body. If you are dealing with overall loss of firmness and skin hydration, bioremodelling is an effective choice with a visible improvement in skin tone.

The first improvement in skin quality is noticeable within a few days to weeks; the full effect of biostimulation appears gradually over four to eight weeks depending on the chosen method. The best results are achieved with a series of two to three treatments at intervals of three to four weeks.
The gradual onset of the effect is a typical feature of biostimulation, in contrast to the immediate effect of classic fillers. Patience pays off in this case, because changes in skin quality develop gradually and look natural.
Biostimulation is suitable for adult clients who want to improve skin quality, support its elasticity and slow down the visible signs of ageing. It is suitable both for prevention in younger skin and for addressing more pronounced changes in more mature skin.
Contraindications include an active skin infection in the treated area, pregnancy and breastfeeding. Before the procedure a consultation therefore always takes place, at which the doctor assesses the state of health and recommends the most suitable method or a combination of methods.
Biostimulation represents a modern direction in aesthetic medicine that does not add volume to the skin from the outside, but awakens its own capacity for regeneration. Whether you choose polynucleotides or bioremodelling with hyaluronic acid, the result is a more natural and longer-lasting improvement in skin quality than with classic fillers. If you are looking for a way to restore vitality to the skin without surgery, a consultation with our doctor will help you find the method tailored precisely to your skin type.

A filler gives the skin immediate volume and shapes it from the outside; biostimulation, on the other hand, activates the skin’s own production of collagen and elastin in the tissue. Biostimulation addresses the quality and structure of the skin; a filler addresses specific volume and shape.
The treatment is usually well tolerated. It consists of small injections with a thin needle into the middle layer of the skin, or the substance is applied with a thin cannula. In more sensitive areas an anaesthetic cream is used before the procedure; in the case of cannula application a small amount of local anaesthetic is injected at the insertion site of the cannula.
For the best result a series of two to three treatments is recommended. The first improvement is noticeable within a few days; the full effect appears gradually over several weeks.
Yes, biostimulation is often used preventively in clients around the age of thirty, when the natural production of collagen gradually slows down. Timely support of regenerative processes helps maintain the elasticity and hydration of the skin longer than an intervention when the signs of ageing are already pronounced.
